just sweet.

I can't seem to get away from the cute boots! Maybe the universe is trying to tell me I am indeed cool enough for them.
Nah.
I just attract really cool people. :)
Jeff and Lori were an adorably easy couple to photograph. I like when couples actually get what I'm saying when I go, "Now just hug on each other like you would...like I'm not here." They were just sweet. As all engaged couples are...

I have a thing for bricks.

Apparently, if you have a shoot with me and bricks are near us, you will at some point be leaning against them in some form or fashion. It's unavoidable. And, as exemplified by one of my senior reps, you might even be forced to lay on a brick street. :) What can I say? Bricks are cool.

Some things I know.

1. girls weren't this pretty when I was in highschool.
2. Thank Goodness.
3. I love taking senior pictures! Totally love it!
4. My self esteem is already suffering from looking at the shots of these pretty girls.
5. Amy might have the cutest sweetest most endearing smile I've ever seen.

6. Amy is the winner of the "best jumping picture" award.

7. J. Wilde's is a super cute spot for pictures. Especially when my subject is rockin' a pink scarf.

8. I repeat - cutest smile ever.

9. Seriously. We were pretty in highschool, but nowhere near this.

10. I'm still not cool enough for boots and a sundress. Bu Amy for sure is.

God's opinion that the world should go on...

I love pregnant mommas! They're so excited and sweet and beautiful in a way that only pregnant women can be. And then there's the soon-to-be daddies. And they have a gentleness and nervousness that is so endearing. It's just such an amazing time. It's just cool to capture these moments before the world is blessed with a new baby.

I need a girl.

Since starting Sprinkle, I have come to the nonnegotiable decision that I must have a little girl at some point in my life.
Because I need a reason to buy a headband with a gigantic flower attached.
And a tutu that has more layers of tulle than should be mathematically possible.
And tites.
And sundresses.
And little mary janes.

Because, if I don't have a little girl, shoots like this one, where little girl sweetness just oozes in pink perfection, will just be terribly sad. I need a little girl...or at least get one on loan for a bit...

Noah.

It's easy to imagine why I was looking forward to this little guy's one year shoot for quite some time - I mean look at those eyes! And that grin! And his chubby little squeezable tummy. One year olds are maybe my favorite age to photograph. Their faces are so expressive. Their wobbly steps are adorable. And, really, no matter what they're doing, they just look so darn cute. It makes my job so very easy...

See? Cute! No matter the face - just cute cute cute!

I heart seniors. Especially ones with boots.

I had a shoot today with my first official senior of the year. Bailee was super cute and super cool. Like cool enough to wear boots with a sundress. I can't do that. I've never tried, but I know it. I'm just not cool enough. But Bailee rocked it.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorites...so far. There are dozens and dozens I haven't even gotten to yet... Did I mention she was cute?

Her eyes - especially in the shot below - are really quite sickeningly beautiful. I fear my self-esteem is going to suffer if I have to photograph too many of these beauties....
